Following the birth of young daughters Erin and Connie, Jessica has decided to return to her original passion of painting florals on canvas and watercolour paper, for which she was published under her maiden name of Metcalf. She uses a range of mixed media including acrylics, watercolour and inks to create ethereal yet modern paintings which capture the essence of flowers and are inspired by chinoserie.

Jessica graduated from Winchester School of Art with a BA Hons in Fashion and Textile Design in 2000. She immediately started designing printed materials for the textile industry both freelance and in house based in London. Having designed for 7 years Jessica has developed a keen eye for colour and has specialised in floral print. Work was commissioned for names such as Toast by Post, Calvin Klein, Vera Wang and Laura Ashley to name a few.
